Directing at HotCity is generally done through our artistic staff. There are directing opportunities rarely available during our New Play Festival where we produce a number of staged readings.
Interested directors should note that we generally seek people that have worked with HotCity in the past, and are familiar with our staff members. This promotes a smooth process and efficient production that is often important in a smaller theatre company. All of our recent off-staff directors had previously volunteered, collaborated or acted with our company in some way.

Please note we do not offer travel expenses, lodging or transportation to out of city directors, and do not currently have plans to hire anyone outside of St. Louis.
